Black Mirror is a UK retelling, of sorts, of the Twilight Zone. Most of the episodes have to do with humanity or the dark sides of humanity in relation to modern society, technological advancements and media/social media sensationalism aka what I call “POOP Culture.”

AND finally, we get to the meat of it… The Seven Deadly Sins… Where nothing you do in the technologically advanced present-day is safe, a secret, just you and your thoughts? All your dark secrets can come to light.

A boy’s Internet sex session gets recorded on the laptop cam. A man who lies, cheats, steals gets busted with a hooker. All from an anonymous hacker who has them running around town doing tasks. Some seem unimportant whereas others are downright illegal and later immoral.

Some of us that lived through the childhood of public INTERNET know that people; posted, uploaded, downloaded, said, wrote, search for some: SHADY ASS STUFF THAT NO ONE WANTS OUT TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY. It’s probably there on some outdated server that just stores sheets and sheets of basic text for other baby AI’s to search for keywords and/or phrases.

Nothing you did or do is secret or private… Scary shit… You feel for the two main characters, at first. Then you find out what they are willing to do to keep their secrets safe. I started to think there was something wrong if people are willing to do things “way above” their usual behavior patterns, just out of a threat.

By the end, you realize both these guys are serious pieces of shit. They totally deserve this and it does get worse for them. It is all about the build-up of the tension, which was pretty solid in this episode, its all about that actually. If you are a shady person that does things in the shadows and you get caught, take note.

The people that caught you, regardless of price, will NOT let you go or out. You are their puppet, which is the best justice of all…
