Don't Need Sight

I don't need sight to be a good listener.
I don't need sight to taste, touch, or smell.
I don't need sight to live.
I don't need sight to walk.
I don't need sight to hear the harmony in music.
I don't need sight to feel the waves of the ocean hitting my body.
I don't need sight to feel the love of a woman.
I don't need sight to see.
I don't need sight to appreciate existence.
Have you ever heard the saying; "A blind man sees more in one day than most of us see in a lifetime?"
Sight is for people who can't think when they put their hands over their eyes and they are asked what they can see.
Sight is for people who need physical details to make sense of life.
Sight for me is just extra details, I know I am aware.
I know I am truly alive- living at harmony with myself and my senses.
You ask to choose between hearing and seeing.
I choose to lose sight, because I look at things the way a blind man would…
